Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center Sports Medicine

The Sports Medicine Staff at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center provides prevention, evaluation, management and treatment of athletic injuries to Roxbury Community College athletes.  After an injury has occurred, the staff provides the necessary rehabilitation and reconditioning of the student athlete to assure a safe, expedient and healthy return to participation in their respective sport.  Our staff includes licensed and board certified athletic trainers and student athletic trainers from Northeastern University.

In addition to treating Roxbury Community College athletes, the Sports Medicine Staff at the Reggie Lewis Center also provides Sports Medicine services to the athletes of the Boston Public High Schools.  Our Sports Medicine Staff works under the supervision of Team Physician Dr. Lyle Micheli from the Children’s Hospital Division of Sports Medicine.  Dr. Micheli and his staff provide medical coverage for Boston Public High School football games, alongside an EMT or Certified Athletic Trainer.  Physicians from the Division of Sports Medicine also conduct pre-participation screenings for our high school and college athletes.
