Math, Music and Technology This class will present mathematics to students using music technology as the medium of instruction. Through in-class lectures, enjoyable computer demonstrations and custom software involving music and technology, the student will internalize a refreshingly new way of learning and applying mathematics. The aim is to help the students become better at math and relate to it in a creative and hands-on manner. Students will be able to experiment, try out different mathematical scenarios and compare the audible results. Simultaneous utilization of their creative and reasoning powers will help them become better math students and get a better score on the MCAS examination. Each class will focus on specific math topics by using music, sound and technology as the underlying context.
