Campus Safety

The Mission of Roxbury Community College's Department of Public Safety is to provide a safe and secure atmosphere conducive to the College's goals of higher learning. Roxbury Community College strives to deliver a form of high-quality, efficient and professional service to all students, faculty, staff, and visitors and are dedicated to developing partnerships with the communities served. These partnerships provide a learning environment that supports academic freedom, respect for diversity, fair and equal treatment to all, and open exchange of ideas.

At Roxbury Community College, the safety and well-being of students, faculty, and staff are our highest priority.

The Roxbury Community College, Office of Public Safety provides protection to the campus community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Public Safety staff work with community members to prevent crime, solve problems, and take proactive steps to make Roxbury Community College as safe as possible.

Public Safety Office

The Office of Public Safety offers many programs and services for students, faculty, and staff.

Threat Assessment Team

The Threat Assessment Team is dedicated to a proactive, coordinated and planned identification, prevention, assessment, management, and reduction of interpersonal and behavioral threats to the safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors of Roxbury Community College.

Campus Crime Report

Roxbury Community College complies with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), which is a federal law requiring most colleges and universities nationwide to publish statistics in order to inform the campus community about certain criminal offenses committed on or near campus.
