The Criminal Justice Program (Associate of Science in Criminal Justice) offers students an academic foundation in Criminal Justice combined with an emphasis on a real world understanding of the field. The curriculum is designed to encourage academic excellence while incorporating the college's commitment to cultural education, strengthening the community and educating Criminal Justice professionals who are sensitive to the needs and concerns of people of color. Courses in the major include:
- Introduction to Criminal Justice
- Law Enforcement Operations and Criminal Law
Other Program courses, including English, Humanities, Mathematics and Social Sciences are designed to facilitate transfer to four-year programs. For more information about opportunities in Criminal Justice, please contact Carol Liebman, Program Coordinator, in the Academic Building, Room 418.
