  2. Administrative Information Technology Program (AS) at Roxbury Community College

 

Effective Agreement Date:  6/15/2011

1.0 The Purpose of this Articulation Agreement is to develop a non-duplicative learning continuum that will enable students to progress from the high school Business Office Technology course of study directly to the Administrative Information Technology Program Associate Degree Program. The articulation agreement identifies the areas of curriculum alignment and the credits to be awarded for high-level work completed in the high school Business Office Technology Vocational Program.

    1. Stage One

Madison Park Technical Vocational High School and Roxbury Community College will form a collaboration which will incorporate specific activities to increase and enhance the post secondary connection for those students designated as “Tech Prep Enrolled”.  These activities include the following which will be documented in each student’s file:

    1. Tech Prep activities may include:  (check those that apply)

[X] Visits by post secondary professors to high school classes
[X] College Placement Testing
[X] Provision of admission and course requirement brochures
[X] Post secondary representatives at College/Career Fairs

The group of high school students designated as “Tech Prep Students” will participate in the activities described in section 1.2 in addition to those described in section 2.0.
