Description:

This course builds upon Nursing in Health and Illness I. Students focus on health promotion and therapeutic nursing interventions for clients with complex physical and mental health problems. Students demonstrate critical thinking skills utilized in nursing practice. This course includes hospital/health care facilities/community experiences; selected observations; and use of the computer lab. Prerequisites: Requires acceptance into the Nursing Program. Nursing in Health & Illness I (ADN 151); Microbiology (SCI 204)
