It is important that you read all the enclosed information, submit all the required paperwork, and respond to all requests. Please consult the appropriate deadlines found on the second page of this application package. Click here to see the International Student Package.
As an International Student living in another country, keep in mind that you will need additional time for travel. Please be advised that Roxbury Community College has no residence halls to house students. This means that you will be responsible for obtaining adequate housing.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT INSTRUCTIONS
Please complete the application for admissions and return it to the Office of Admissions promptly along with the required documentation. In order to process your I-20 in a timely manner, it is very important that you answer all questions on the application and retrun it at least 60 days prior to the beginning of the desired semester. The application and packet can be downloaded from the RCC website. ( www.rcc.mass.edu).
STEPS:
- Complete and sign the Admissions Application and I-20 Application (Be sure to select only one Academic Program (Major) on the application.
- Submit a $35.00 application fee (U.S. Money order only).
- Official/Certified copy of high school transcript/diploma. Foreign educational records must be evaluated by an approved agency and NOT translated.
- Affidavit of support. Click here PDF
- Certified Bank letter of Sponsor stating the account balance in U.S. currency equivalencies.Click here PDF
- Submit proof of immunization. This form may be downloaded from the RCC website. CLICK PDF
- Certified Employment Letter from the Sponsor. If self-employed a copy of last income tax return.
- Complete the I-901 and follow the instructions on www.fmjfee.com
- If you are already in the United States and a Non-Immigrant (F-1 status), with a Certificate of Eligibility (I-20AB) from another school or college, you must submit a copy of the I-20AB issued to you from your current institution and a copy of the Transfer Evaluation form.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Department requires International Students to present proof of their ability to pay for all their
educational expenses while studying in the United States. We estimate that you will have the following expenses if you live here for twelve months and go to college for both regular academic semesters (which are September – December and January – May):
Tuition and fees for 1 academic year (12 credits per semester) $8,602.00
Room and Board for 12 months $7,080.00
Other Expenses: Books $720.00
Transportation $1,200.00
Miscellaneous $1,000.00
Universal Health Insurance (mandatory) $840.00
TOTAL $20,000.00
DEADLINE: International Student Application needs to be completed and submitted to the Admission Office by the deadlines indicated below. If you are applying for:
