As a department, we are conscious that the daily operations of this department will have profound effect on everything you do and impact upon your productivity.  It is our goal therefore, to maintain a high quality standard in all operations and services provided to you, so that the study/work/social environment created, is one that is conducive for the purpose.  We also want to ensure that internal barriers perpetrated by this office do not create challenges for you. We know we are not where we want to be.   Our staff situation is such that we cannot be at all places at the same time, and some requests do have priority over others in terms of our triage ranking.  All we ask for is your understandingWe recognize that you, our customers, are vital to the future of this great institution.  We urge that if at any time you feel frustrated with the service you receive, or wish to share suggestions about how to serve you better, please do not hesitate to stop by the Facilities Office, or contact me at extension 5309 or email: tgalvin@rcc.mass.edu, or Kenneth Hall (Assistant Director of Custodial Services), at 5379 or email: khall@rcc.mass.edu.  But remember, while it may be convenient to call me for any and all problems, certain complaints can be handled faster by contacting the Departmental Secretary @5334 or Ken Hall directly, and because we maintain an aggressive work order system, contacting the individual who will actually perform the work is not a good idea.

imgFor your information, the Facilities Office is located in Suite 112 in the Student Center Building. Please support us in our effort to make our environment healthful and comfortable.  Remember that if we work in partnership together we can achieve a lot together.
