Students are financially responsible for all classes they are registered for after
the Last Day for Schedule Change (Add/Drop).
There are NO bill adjustments for:
- Classes that students withdraw from a class after the Last Day for Schedule Change
(Add/Drop).
- Students who have never attended a class for which they were registered. Failure to
attend classes does not constitute dropping a course. RCC supports the attendance
policies on course syllabi.
Courses at RCC may be taught using different modalities: on-campus, online, hybrid,
or virtually to support our students. Each method has benefits and drawbacks when
selecting courses, it is helpful to understand the differences in each modality.
- Online courses meet without set times. Online courses are completed fully online,
without in-person or regularly scheduled meetings. You can complete the work at a
pace that best suits your schedule, but you must submit assignments and exams by set
deadlines.
- Hybrid courses are completed on-campus with specific meeting days and times per week,
with the remainder of the assignments completed online.
- Virtual courses are completed fully online with scheduled meeting times. You are required
to log-in and participate during course meetings via web-based communication (Microsoft
Teams or Zoom) during the scheduled days/times.
- On-campus courses are courses in a classroom at set meeting times.
Course modalities, schedules, and rooms may change around the start of each semester.
It is important to review your course schedule through MyRCC. If you need assistance
