Boston, Mass. (January 28, 2019) – Curry College and Roxbury Community College (RCC) today announced that the schools have signed a transfer agreement that provides RCC graduates the opportunity to complete their bachelor’s degree through Curry College’s Division of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies.
Under the agreement, Curry College will accept all RCC associate degree credits towards a majority of Curry’s programs. Students may potentially transfer a third year of additional credits for a maximum of 90 credits. The agreement was signed by Curry College Provost Dr. David Szczerbacki and Roxbury Community College Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs Cecile Regner.
“Curry College is committed to mentoring and empowering our students to help them succeed and achieve their ambitions. We welcome students from Roxbury Community College and will provide them the flexibility to continue and diversify their academic portfolio and transfer into new academic programs without sacrificing credits,” said Dr. Szczerbacki.
Advisors from Curry College will provide academic advising services to prospective RCC students to facilitate a seamless transition into their desired major, and keep them on track for completing their bachelor’s degree. RCC students will be eligible to receive Curry’s Educational Partner Pricing, which offers graduates a reduced per-credit tuition rate.
“Roxbury Community College is excited to create this partnership that will allow our students to continue on the pathway to opportunity and success that started with our exceptional academic programs,” said Dr. Valerie Roberson, president of RCC. “Curry College will provide an excellent educational experience that is affordable and flexible, two factors that are essential to our students’ success.”
