Dear RCC Supporters,
Thank you for your exceptional engagement and support over the past two years. RCC’s transformation is well underway, and the outstanding achievements made throughout my presidency are a testimony to the fact that RCC’s network of support is truly unparalleled.
The 2025-26 Academic Year saw continued progress, growth, and excellence across all college operations. The spring semester was especially eventful. While summer is often seen as a slow time, RCC never slows down. Immediately after commencement, we were thrilled to receive a state early college designation for multilingual learners from the Early College Joint Committee for our groundbreaking pilot with Boston Public Schools (BPS). We also continued to serve as a hub for civic and community engagement, hosting a small-business month fair with Senator Liz Miranda and formally announcing our new ESOL Academy and Pharmacy Tech Lab.
Over the remaining summer months, we look forward to welcoming the Summer Learn and Earn cohort from the City of Boston, replacing the bleacher systems in the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center (the Reggie), hosting community events, and formalizing our plans for the next academic year. We look forward to building on early Strategic Plan successes and propelling our transformation into Roxbury 2030.
In this edition of the Gazette, you will learn more about what makes RCC a unique, future-proof institution. I encourage you to explore this issue and learn about our investment in Health and Wellness, the exceptional Class of 2026, our brand-new maker space, the trailblazing women’s flag football team, and more.
I hope the stories in this edition of the Gazette inspire your continued engagement with the College. I look forward to seeing you at RCC throughout the summer.
Thank you again for your support.
