Sheriece M. Perry, Esq. is a member of the RCC Board of Trustees. She is the Director of Court Services and Law Libraries for the Massachusetts Trial Court’s Office of Court Management where she provides state-wide oversight of the Court Service Centers, Law Libraries and Judicial Response System. She has served on the Board of Trustees since 2019. 

Judge Leslie Harris is a member of the RCC Foundation; a lifetime member of the Roxbury community, retired Judge at Massachusetts Trial Courts and RCC Pioneer who has championed many efforts for the college. Most recently it was under his leadership that the RCC Foundation was transformed into an effective, vibrant, thriving organization working to raise funds, relationships, and other resources for the college. Judge Leslie Harris has supported RCC since the I-95 protests. In addition to his work securing the land for RCC’s current campus, Judge Harris taught both biology and African American History at RCC during the late 1970s.

Israul “Izzy” Marrero is a member of the Board of Trustees and an RCC Alum. He is a well-known member of the Roxbury community who works as a Community Service Officer for the Boston Police Department. He has been a member of the RCC Board of Trustees since 2017. 

Kiara Rosario is the student representative on the Board of Trustees since 2022. Kiara has served the student body as a voting member on the board actively participating in trustee meetings, planning retreats and activities contributing her ideas and student perspectives. She is an engaged student involved in many clubs and organizations on campus including: The Book Club, Sister 2 Sister, and our Student Government Association. Currently, she is working on creating a Parent-to-Parent Club in the fall. 

Dr. Jose Luis Santos is the Sr. Deputy Commissioner and Special Advisor, appointed by the DHE Commissioner to represent the Department of Higher Education, where he provides strategic and tactical management across internal and external teams to help advance the mission of DHE and the Board of Higher Education. 

Dr. Tariana V. Little is an RCC Alum, an educator who holds a Doctor of Public Health from Harvard University where she serves as an instructor within the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is also Co-founder and CEO of EmVision Productions. Dr. Little has been an engaged advocate in the Greater Boston community since high school and is currently leading communications at Atrius Health Equity Foundation. 

Michael Rubin is a member of the Roxbury community, a former retired BPS school principal and coach. He has actively participated with Roxbury Community College for years, most recently serving in the Pathway Forward Committee supporting the assessment of the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center. 

Lisa Carter is a member of the RCC community with 26 years of employment in a variety of leadership roles. She is currently the Associate Dean of Student Life where she oversees all non-academic support programs for students including Project Access, the Food Pantry and Health and Wellness. An active member of the RCC and Roxbury community.

Sophia Sanon is the Acting steward for AFSCME, Unit I. Sophia works as an Administrative Assistant II in Student Life. She has been at RCC for over 12 years.

Ralph Holley has worked as a full-time librarian at RCC since November 2022, though he has worked in libraries for over 14 years. He is a community college graduate, an alumnus from Holyoke Community College in Holyoke, MA. Ralph also serves as an adjunct professor of library and information􀆟on science at Simmons University. These experiences have provided him a well-rounded perspective on the modern pressures of students, staff, and faculty in academia.

John McColgan is a Professor of Mathematics (FT Faculty Member). He began working at Roxbury Community College (RCC) in Spring of 2010 teaching as a DCE faculty member and full time in September 2011. Professor McColgan has continually served in leadership positions. At various 􀆟times in his tenure he has been Math Clinic Coordinator, Supervisor of Supplemental Instruction, Chapter President of the MCCC, Secretary of Faculty Assembly, Chair of the Scholarship & Honors Committee, and Secretary of the Acuerdo. He is currently serving as Mathematics Department Chair. He is passionate about public higher education and ensuring our students have the resources they need to be successful.

Rev. Mary Margaret Earl is the Executive Director and Senior Minister at Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry in Boston. She leads a faith based social justice organization where she uses her relationship building, outreach, fundraising and communications skills towards building community.

James Anderson is a Health Careers major at RCC, a devoted father, part-time student maintaining a 3.6 GPA, and currently serving as the SGA President, brings a wealth of experience to his role. Additionally, James is a proud Veteran of the US armed services, further highlighting his commitment and dedication to his community.
