*This will be a hybrid course. Hybrid courses have one scheduled face-to-face meeting time per week and an online component. Hybrid courses are completed on-campus with specific meeting days and times per week, with the remainder of the assignments completed online.*
This PTCB certified 130-hour program introduces students to the theoretical knowledge and hands-on training necessary to work as pharmacy technicians in retail, hospital, and fulfillment pharmacy settings. Topics include the history of medicine, pharmacy terminology, prescription processing, compounding, inventory management, and state and federal pharmacy regulation. This program includes taking the PTCB National and State Pharmacy exams as requisites for course completion.

Part 1: January 24 - May 4, 2022 | Mondays and Wednesdays | 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
Part 2: May 9 - June 8, 2022 | Mondays and Wednesdays | 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm
TUITION: $1,800 (PTCB exam is included in cost)

Students will take the National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) Exam and a final exam approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy as part of the course. Upon passing the PTBC exam and/or the state approved exam, graduates will be able to register as Pharmacy Technicians.
