Update to COVID-19 Vaccine Requirement

Roxbury Community College’s physical campus is closed for the holidays and scheduled maintenance from Monday, 12/22/2025 – Sunday, 1/4/2026. Normal business hours resume on Monday, 1/5/2025. Students enrolled in winter session classes should visit their courses in Canvas for information and support instructions. The Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center is closed from Tuesday, 12/23/22025 – Saturday, 12/27/2025, on Monday, 12/29/2025, and on Thursday, 1/1/2026. The Center is otherwise open for high school track and previously scheduled activities. Please visit the Reggie Lewis Center’s website calendar for a complete listing of scheduled activities.

At the link below, please find a statement from the 15 community college presidents. At the conclusion of final exams of the spring 2023 semester, the COVID-19 vaccine requirement will be lifted. Spring semester final exams end on May 12, 2023; at RCC, the COVID-19 vaccine requirement will be lifted on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

While this vaccination requirement is being lifted, we are continually monitoring health guidance and data including community metrics, and will continue efforts to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
