Radiographers utilize their patient care skills and knowledge of state-of-the-art
diagnostic imaging equipment to help diagnose orthopedic problems, as well other pathologic
conditions. The radiographer is part of a medical team. Graduates will also be eligible
for advanced certification in specialty areas, such as mammography, Computed Tomography
(CT) or Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). In addition to practice, graduates may choose
to continue their education at the university level for advanced allied health education,
administration, or research.
