Students will have an email and password for use with MyRCC, Email, Canvas, Microsoft Office, and computer login.
If you are a new student and need assistance with receiving your student email and password, please reach out to the Helpdesk via the following methods:
Student username will be their email address. Your email will be used to log in to MyRCC, Canvas, and Office 365 where you can access your email by clicking Outlook. There is a default password (for new students only) to be used the first time you log in to your MyRCC account.

MyRCC is RCC’s self-service student and faculty portal. This is where students can register for classes, see their schedule, make payments, access course materials, view grades, get an unofficial transcript and keep abreast of RCC’s student events.
All student information is maintained in RCC’s ERP system, Jenzabar, and made available through the MyRCC web portal. This system is the engine that drives all administrative processes for Admissions, Advising, Registration, Scheduling, Financial Aid, Finance, and eLearning. MyRCC provides a common platform for faculty, staff and student interaction and allows students to manage their academic information.

New students should have received a welcome letter with their login information.
There is a default password to be used the first time you log in to your student email account. If you have forgotten your username or password, please make sure to contact the Helpdesk.

The RCC student e-mail system is powered by Office 365. All RCC students are assigned an e-mail account. This is RCC’s official electronic messaging system for students and the only e-mail the college will use to communicate important school information.
NOTE: E-mail accounts for new students may take up to 48 hours to become active.

PaperCut is Roxbury Community College’s student printing system. This is installed in all computer labs across campus. Every registered student receives a PaperCut account with credits that allows each student to print 200 pages for each semester. You can use your MyRCC username and password to login to the PaperCut printers. If you would like to add credits to your account, or you are still having a problem, contact IT helpdesk.

RCC uses MS365 suite of services and tools for communication, collaboration amongst other functions within the O365 suite of tools.
The service includes Office 365 Apps both online and you can download and install on your computer (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Team and OneNote), 1TB of OneDrive storage, Yammer, and SharePoint sites, etc.
Update: All Students, Faculty and Staff will all use Office365 for email and Microsoft Office Products.

Self Service Password Reset (SSPR) is a Microsoft-delivered feature that allows an enrolled user the ability to reset their own password.
4.1 Text Me Option
4.1.1. Enter the code received in a text and select the “Verify” button.
4.1.2. If successful, you will be returned to the initial setup screen.
4.2. Call Me Option
4.2.1. Answer your phone.
4.2.2. When prompted on the phone, hit the “#’ key.
4.2.3. If successful, you will be returned to the initial setup screen
Once you have completed your choice of settings, select the “finish” button to continue to other applications. It is important to complete this step, or your changes will be lost.
Note: You may be prompted for your password again after you select the “finish” button.
