RCC Hosted Free Clothing Market for Students and Families

Roxbury Community College hosted its spring Thrift and Thrive Free Market, a free clothing event open to all RCC students. Now in its third year, Thrift and Thrive is held twice a year to give students the opportunity to take home clothing for themselves and their families at no cost, from professional wear and everyday basics to children's items.

From Carpenter to Cartoonist: A Craftsman’s Second Act

Deutra L. Gamboa-Haith knows what it means to rebuild, as someone experienced in mending both structures and the course of his own life. Now pursuing his associate degree in Visual Arts at Roxbury Community College, he plans to transfer to Massachusetts College of Art and Design after graduation to become a commercial artist. His journey to the studio, however, was anything but conventional. Before art became his profession, construction was his craft.
