Roxbury Community College (RCC) celebrated its Makerspace with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sept. 16, 2026. As the Northeast’s only Predominantly Black Institution, RCC offers students free, hands-on access to 3D printing, virtual reality and computer-aided design (CAD) technology through the space, helping them build job skills for the region’s growing tech sector.
Roxbury Community College recently partnered with EmVision Productions, founded by RCC alumna Dr. Tarianna V. Little, to spotlight the people who make our college community what it is. As an alum, Dr. Little brings both a personal connection to RCC and expertise in community-centered storytelling to the project.
From September 8 – September 10, Roxbury Community College (RCC) welcomed over 2,300 students back to campus through welcome week events, ensuring that students feel a sense of belonging as they return to their academic endeavors.
